Sometimes I wonder why I keep this blog. It’s clear that I don’t post very often and most of my stuff is back dated from an older blog I used to have. Oh well, guess I’ll keep this just in case I someday feel inspired to write something meaningful.

Okay, this is my first real post here but I signed up like 4 days ago. All the other crud is imported from another blog of mine. My name is Tony, I’m 25. I’m not going into details on my looks or anything because none of that matters. I’m currently a truck driver (NO I do not wear trucker caps and suspenders and all that crap) I’m a huge fan of Anime, mostly the mainstream stuff but starting to get into the lesser known ones like “Karin”. I’m a complete smart-ass. I’m a very opinionated person but also very open minded. I’m not afraid to hear your view of something just as long as you’re saying more than “You’re stupid. You’re wrong” If you can actually explain your view then I will at least hear you out. I currently live in Florida and am working on getting into computers since I have been a computer nut since I was about 14. I’m a total gamer and prefer to stick mostly to consoles but occasionally break out the PC for some FPS games and Microsoft Flight Simulator. There isn’t much more for me to say about myself so if anyone stumbles across this and wants to know something about me then feel free to ask and I will respond usually within 24 hours. I have more I want to write but need some time to collect my thoughts. I will post another blog about those thoughts either in a couple hours or sometime tomorrow if I can.

Poor mobile support

I’m laying here in bed tinkering with my psp & pda & realized the mobile browser support here sucks. This doesn’t work at all on my pda & works poorly on my psp.

Sick of people who are picky about what they are referred to as.

Just to make things clear, I’m not trying to diss one race or say another race is better, this is just something I’ve noticed that has also become a pet peeve of mine.

I was watching Carlos Mencia (sp?) on Comedy Central. He was talking about a guy who was making a big stink about being called “black” because he’s Haitian (sp?). As I thought, I realized this happens quite a bit. I’ve noticed people that you would commonly refer to as “Hispanic” will quickly point out that they are Guatemalan or Cuban or something like that. I’ve noticed that “Asians” will quickly point out that they are Japanese or Chinese (but not oriental because that’s a food!). I’ve also noticed this with “black” people. They will say “I’m not black…I’m African American” or Jamaican or some crap like that.
Not once have I noticed someone that’s “white” say “I’m not white, I’m Irish!!!” or German, or British, or Welsh, or Canadian…blah blah blah.

Now I’m not trying to say white people are better than the rest, because everyone has their faults. I just with people would quit being so damn picky!!!

I say that if you are legally American, then you are just plain American. If you came up through Mexico and crossed the border and are here illegally, then you are Mexican or Hispanic. If you can’t deal with that then go back home. Same with anyone else that’s here illegally from another country. I don’t care what exact country you are from, I’m just going to call you by your general region or continent.

NFS Most Wanted for PSP review

This review would probably be slightly different if I had not already played the console version of this, taking that in mind, I will try to keep this relatively un-biased.

The gameplay itself is great. The cars respond immediately when you press any of the controls.

The sound is top notch, the tires squeal when they should, the music is great, and the engine sounds pretty real.

The graphics ovbiously aren’t as good as they are on the consoles, but they still look great.

As for Negatives, there is no video like there is on the consoles, this can be good or bad. It’s bad bacause the PSP is obviously capable of playing the video fine, but it’s good because the acting and voice is horrible. Also, there is no free roam maps where you can just drive around the city and pick which races. I’m not sure why they would cut this out because the PSP is more than capable of this too as proven on Midnight Club 3.

Over-all i’d give this game an 8 out of 10. It plays well and is very polished, but they shouldn’t have taken out the things that make the console versions so great.

An agnostics view of evolution.

Before anyone gets up in arms about this, let me explain what an agnostic is since many people either don’t know what it means or mistake it for atheistic.
Agnostic:
a. One who believes that it is impossible to know whether there is a God.
b. One who is skeptical about the existence of God but does not profess true atheism.

I fit more into b. I do believe anything is possible in some way, and I do believe God may exist, but until someone finds a way to prove that God does or doesn’t exist with hard evidence.

Now for the boring stuff. The bible starts in Genesis, which pretty-much begins with how the earth was supposedly created. It then states that one man and one woman was created, I don’t believe this to be the case. The reason I don’t believe it happened this way is because there is too much hard evidence that current humans evolved from Australopithecus ramidus. There is also scientific proof that we are still evolving, and some of the possible outcomes may be somewhat disturbing. The only one that comes to mind is the fact that our Y chromosome is shrinking, if this happens then there will someday only be women on the planet. This case has already happened in a breed of lizard, I can’t recall which breed or how they procreate ( they don’t have both sex organs ) but I do recall it can be found in Arizona. Now lets say God does exist, if he did then humans didn’t obviously pop up out of nowhere like they appear to have in the bible. My belief is that if God exists, he didn’t start influencing man until we evolved to a point where we could actually think and not just react based on reflex. Only then could God start to take some control of what path mankind took as a whole. As for the bible, it was written by man, and anything created by man is flawed because no one is perfect and therefore no one can make something that is perfect either. There are several occurrences in the bible that can be easily explained. I’m not going to get into these things because many people so strongly believe what the bible says word for word that no matter how many times I explain it in any amount of detail, even if I go into detailed science, I’m automatically wrong.
I seem to have just developed a writers block (bloody hell) so I’ll just sum this up. I believe God COULD exist, whether he does or doesn’t is unknown to me. As for right now, I believe that Evolution go the ball rolling, and then God may have started working his magic later on.

I know many,MANY people are going to think that I’m totally wrong, but remember, this is based on my opinion, with a little fact thrown in to prove certain points. If you want to comment on this then feel free to, as long as it’s something that has to do with what I said and you use some sort of intelligent argument. If it’s an un-intelligent comment (eg. YOU’RE WRONG! or You’re stupid!) then I will promptly delete your comment.

Trust Issues

Fist off I want to say I love my fiancé with all my heart. Anyway, we have been arguing alot more than usual. It wouldn’t bother me much if it were for a real reason, but it’s for pointless crap, and that bothers me. All of our arguments for the past few days have been because of the computer. Case in point, when she is at work, I get on yahoo and talk to people for a bit as does she. When I don’t know the person I check out their profile, as does she. The problem us that when she gets home, she goes through the history on Internet Explorer. She checks everything I looked at and if the profile of a girl shows up, she starts freaking out accusing me of flirting and wanting to cheat on her. I really hope I can get her to realize she can trust me, because if I can’t then it may end our relationship and I don’t want that to happen. I really hope all this works out in the end.

Okay, so I took a job at a department store doing stock and trash detail. They told me it would be part time which I could deal with cuz I figured that meant 20 hours a week or so. I was obviously mistaken. My first week I worked 8 hours, second week I worked 12 hours, third week I worked 0 hours, and this week I work 3 and a half. That day is today. Paychecks will be coming in at the end of this week. I’m getting something like 7 bucks an hour for this, so that means this paycheck will be 21 dollars BEFORE taxes, if you figure it up after taxes, I’ll get about 18 dollars. 18 DOLLARS FOR 2 FUCKING WEEKS!!! Looks like it’s time for me to do some job hunting cuz this shit just isn’t gunna fly.
